Description This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired. OVERVIEW The GM Fuel Cell Hydrogen Storage and Fuel Delivery Integration Engineer will be responsible for the balanced integration of the hydrogen delivery fuel system into traditional and non-traditional vehicle platforms. This role entails working closely with the fuel cell application and providing direction of how to design and integrate the fuel system into the vehicle. The Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and leadership relative to hydrogen fuel delivery systems integration with the GM's or customer application. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the design and integration of the hydrogen fuel system into application specific propulsion systems. Define, develop, and lead execution of HSS (Hydrogen Storage System) integration strategy Leads overall communication, coordination, and consultation between customers and cross-functional teams Define and balance customer requirements, system level requirements, and sub system requirements. Lead the development of application ICDs and mechanizations Support the development of the controls new feature list and ensure alignment of requirements between controls and hardware team Proactively drive successful HSS integration at vehicle build sites and testing facilities Identify HSS related integration issues and drive cross-team discussions to identify and implement solutions Communicate, coordinate and consult with engineering departments, business development, and key stakeholders Design and manage key strategic interfaces within systems to enable component reuse and consistency to standard methodologies Oversee requirements development with other activities Provide support to other specialists for root cause analysis Strong ability to expertly capture and analyze empirical data. Design Tests to efficiently find opportunities for design improvements Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and define standard methodologies Additional Description REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE BS degree in Engineering with 5

$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
