Controls Project Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Controls Project Engineer in the Pontiac, Michigan area.
The Controls Project Engineer is going to be dealing specifically with suppliers that outsource hardware and software designs within Electrical and PLC Logic (Siemens or Rockwell).
They will also be dealing with suppliers that do designs and making sure all materials are delivered and being ordered properly.
Some other responsibilities include:
Approval, Rejection, and release of designs and purchase elements including technical release of order forms after assessment of all technical specifications.
Providing technical advice to the project team.
Taking measures to prevent any overrun of the schedule.
Evaluation of delivered tooling and purchase elements to determine adherence to specificationPercentage Breakdown (Can vary depending on the phase of each project):
- 25% Week at plant and taking measurements and doing validation of way equipment is operating- 25% Making sure that the purchased items are getting to right spot on shop floor- 25% Customer deliverables- 25% Miscellaneous- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or relevant experience- 3-5 years of operational experience -- dealing with the flow of design, manufacturing, build, install- HW/SW design experience -- Electrical, PLC, & Fluid power design- Rockwell or Siemens PLC experience- E-plan or AutoCAD experience Recommended Skills Auto Cad Fluid Mechanics Manufacturing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
