_Radiology Technologist_
The Radiologic Technologist performs radiologic procedures at a technical level not requiring supervision of technical detail. The Radiologic Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with integrity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. Performs routine radiographic fluoroscopic procedures on patient of all ages (including pediatrics), demonstrates anatomy under investigation through proper patient positioning, techniques. Performs and /or assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
Education and
Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Required.
Maintain continuing education credits (24 CEU in two-year period) and other requirements to maintain ARRT certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
_CT Technologist_
Performs computerized tomography procedures for the evaluation of pathological entities as prescribed by a physician. Assumes responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during diagnostic procedures.
Education and
Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R).
Current Advanced certification in Computerized Tomography or must complete Advance registry within one year of hire date.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Maintain continuing education credits (24 CEU in two-year period) and other requirements to maintain ARRT certification.
_MRI Technologist_
The MRI Technologist is responsible for reviewing the Physician Order and reason for exam, preparing the patient, positioning, and performing MRI imaging of patients. The MRI Technologist demonstrates an advanced functional knowledge of MRI/MRA and related clinical indicators for exams to be performed. The MRI Technologists may adjust scanning protocols based on the anatomy/physiology presented during the scan. The MRI Technologist works closely with MRI leadership and the Radiologist to produce the most diagnostic images possible in accordance with the department protocols. Administers contrast media required per specific diagnostic protocols. The MRI Technologist may also assist the physician/APP with the performance of MRI-guided invasive procedures. Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, with integrity and initiative and be able to work with minimum supervision. Must have good working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy. Must be proficient in venipuncture. Must know methods to set up and operate MRI equipment. Must be very conscientious and detail-oriented person with excellent communication skills and demonstrate excellent customer service skills to deal effectively with patients, and various levels of hospital personnel, outside customers, and community groups.

Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program
Advanced certification in MRI by ARRT or ARMRIT; OR MRI Registry-eligible with certification within one year of hire
Maintain Continuing Education credits (24 CEU in two period) and other requirements to maintain ARRT certification.

_Mammography Tech_
The mammography technologist will perform diagnostic imaging functions as described in the staff technologist job description. In addition, the mammography technologist will perform mammographic imaging and assume QA/QC responsibilities. The mammography technologist must be self-motivated, use independent judgement and be able to work with minimum supervision. The mammography Technologist must be uniquely empathetic to high stress situations.
Education and
Experience:
Associate degree in Allied Health.
Completion of CAHEA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Registered by the ARRT(R)&(M)
Acquire 15 Continuing Education Credits (CEC) in mammography within a three-year period.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Currently performing or willing to be trained in breast ultrasound.
_Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Ultrasound_
The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer works under the direction of a Radiologist, performs sonographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail; performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative, using ultrasound for diagnosis. Complete exams of abdominal, pelvic, transvaginal, small parts, breast, OB 14 weeks. Assist in guidance of needle placement for breast biopsy, thyroid biopsy, liver biopsy, thoracentesis and paracentesis, and breast wire placement.
Education and
Experience:
Completion of an accredited Medical Sonography program.
Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with a certification in ABD or OB/GYN and Vascular OR RVT Registry-eligible with certification within one year of date of hire.
