JOB SUMMARY
Provides Human Resources consulting services, utilizing a broad range of knowledge of strategies and tactics, to assigned service lines and support departments. Assists in the development, recommendation, and implementation of Human Resources strategies aligned to those of MHC and McLaren Oakland, and assigned areas of responsibility. Assists in the development and implementation of business-focused policies/contracts, procedures, and processes related to staffing, performance management, HRIS, education, employee/labor relations, compensation, and benefits.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
2
years' progressively HR related experience
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
Extensive contact with employment candidates, all hospital staff, outside institutions' of education staff. Periodic contact with advertisement other community members
Knowledge of employment, recruitment, labor relations and FMLA administration
To further our mission of enhancing the health status of the individuals and communities we serve, effective February 1, 2013, McLaren Oakland will no longer hire individuals who use tobacco or nicotine products in any form. Cotinine testing will be used to verify non-tobacco use.
