Activities:
Visit customer sites (Manufacturing Facilities) and review current manufacturing equipment and systems and anticipated designs and manufacturing challenges related to engine blocks, crank shafts, cam shafts, gear boxes, and similar power train components.
Scrutinize available in-house technology for solutions
Develop new process, system, tooling, equipment, and coordinate measuring machine designs.
Coordinate and support the manufacture, delivery setup and commissioning of developed systems.
Oversee and support set up, operation and optimization of machining centers and production line.
Contribute to patent applications.
Requirements:
Engineering Degree
5
years developing CNC multi axis machining centers and processes for power train parts.
Hands-on ability with current drawing, modeling and project management software.
