Position Description:
Applies technical knowledge to maintain the Databases
Applies HP and 3rd party technologies to software solutions of moderate complexity.
Configures end-user or enterprise systems designed by more senior technologists.
Provides time / resource estimates for assigned tasks.
Provides on call services/support as required.
Skills:
Oracle DBA with Oracle Certified Professional Certification or working on getting OCP in 11G. Experience with Database scripting and Unix AIX
Configures end-user or enterprise systems designed by more senior technologists.
Performs work assigned by others.
Provides time / resource estimates for assigned tasks.
Provides on call services/support as required.
SME in Open/DEC VMS (operating system) Supports FORTRAN, COBOL, Visual Basic, JAVA Script, C/C++, PL/1, PASCAL, SQL, TCL/TK, DCL. Manufacturing experience is required ITIL Certification (good to have, but not required)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
